What Makes the 2017 Ford Fusion a Sedan-Segment Standout?

No doubt one of the most popular ponies in the American automaker's stable, there sure is a whole heck of a lot to enjoy about Ford's midsize sedan, the 2017 Fusion.

"Such as what?" you wonder.

Allow AutoGuide.com Managing Editor Jodi Lai to explain; her evaluation of the Fusion is as follows:

Optional on the SE trim, the Fusion's turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine places an emphasis on fuel efficiency.

Tied to a six-speed automatic transmission, this turbo-four produces a healthy 181 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque. It is available in front-drive form only.

And, as aforementioned, this engine does an excellent job on the fuel economy front, too, as it's estimated to return 27 mpg combined (23 city/34 highway).

Nevertheless, the question remains: how might you click with this chic cruiser? To find out, be sure to pop on by our O'Fallon, IL facility. We'd be delighted to arrange a test drive in the Fusion, or any other Ford model that's commanded your curiosity.
